How To Start Recognizing Your Own Magic

Let’s get real for a second—why is it so easy to see the magic in everyone else but nearly impossible to recognize our own? You can hype up your bestie, celebrate your partner’s wins, and see the light in total strangers, but when it comes to yourself? Crickets.

I see this all the time. We’re so conditioned to downplay our power that we don’t even realize how wildly incredible we are. But guess what? You are magic. You always have been. And it’s time to start recognizing it.

So how do you start seeing (and celebrating!) your own brilliance? Here’s how:

Ask Yourself: What Am I Proud of Today?

Not “what huge, life-changing thing did I accomplish?”—but simply, what small moment made me proud today? Did you set a boundary? Did you get out of bed even when you didn’t feel like it? Did you finally drink enough water? It all counts. Magic isn’t just in the big, flashy moments—it’s in the everyday little things that prove you’re showing up for yourself.

Let Go of the Comparison Game

Listen, comparing your journey to someone else’s is like comparing a moonstone to a piece of moldavite—they’re both powerful, but in completely different ways. Your path is YOURS. No one else has lived your experiences, walked in your shoes, or holds your unique energy. Own that. Your magic doesn’t need to look like anyone else’s to be real and powerful.

Surround Yourself with People Who See Your Light

The right people will remind you who you are when you forget. They’ll celebrate your wins, lift you up, and call you out (lovingly) when you’re doubting yourself. If your circle doesn’t reflect that? It might be time for an upgrade. Your energy is precious—protect it.

See Yourself Through a New Lens (Literally!)

Sometimes, we need a fresh perspective to really see ourselves. One of my favorite ways to help people recognize their magic is through a Wild Soul Photoshoot. 📸 There is something POWERFUL about seeing yourself captured in a way that reflects your true essence—your power, your softness, your raw beauty. It’s not just about photos; it’s about witnessing yourself the way the universe sees you.

Here’s the truth: Your magic isn’t something you have to earn or create. It’s already within you. It always has been. You just have to start looking for it—and trusting it.

💜 Tell me—what’s one thing you’re proud of today? Drop it in the comments! Let’s celebrate our magic together.
